Introduction
Suffolk is a popular tourist destination on England's east coast. Along with it's neighbouring counties the rural, flat low-lying area is known as East Anglia.
Towns
Suffolk has several important towns, notably Ipswitch, is the county town and is in the south east, Lowestoft is an important coastal town to the north and Bury St Edmunds dominates the west of the county.
Attraction
Suffolks coast and countryside attractions are perhaps the counties major features, including some of Englands best beaches, historic buildings and Golf courses.
